ABOUT

The Rose Tavern, our modern American restaurant at The Lake House on Canandaigua, serves a seasonal rustic menu sourced from the Finger Lakes Region and was designed to have an impact not only on our guests, but more importantly, on our neighbors and suppliers. By making a conscious effort to purchase from our region, we are able to provide a unique look into the foodways and destination that is Upstate New York.

What excites us here is the natural bounty of our region: the landscapes, the farms, the dairies, the vineyards, the seasonal ebb and flow, but most specifically the terroir of our home. We hope that we can share some of our collective vision, both personal and celebratory, by passing along some of the stories of our local farmers and artisans, and by doing so, return some of the value that they have given us.
